Funeral services for Andrew J. Larson, 82, of 800 4th Ave S, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Richard Hansen will officiate. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery. Mr. Larson died at 10:21 a.m. Tuesday at Good Samaritan Center. He was born at Thor, Iowa, Dec. 25, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Larson. He married Lillie Keen, Sept. 7, 1921 in New Richland. A resident of Albert Lea for 56 years, he was a member of First Lutheran Church. Mr Larson was employed at Queen Stove and at the Karlberg Music Store. He was a veteran of the US Army during World War I. He was a violin player and a member of the Old Time Fiddlers. He was a life member of the Musicians Union and a member of the American Legion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Survivors include his wife, one son, Allan J. of Albert Lea; one daughter, Mrs. James (Doris) Gregerson; seven grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters. Friends may call at the Bonnerup & Sons Funeral Chapel beginning Thursday morning.
