Richard "Dick" Theodore Tollakson, 78, of Mesa, AZ passed away on March 16, 2013. Dick was born in Dows, Iowa January 4, 1935. In 1954 he married Dorie (Dowling). They moved to Mesa in 1967 where he was a general contractor for many years. He most recently found great joy working for Costco. He is survived by his wife, Dorie, daughter, Colleen Breazeale, grandson, Brenden Breazeale, all of Mesa, and son, Brett (Susan) Tollakson of Scottsdale. He was preceded in death by his parents Palmer and Leona and his brother Veryl. In compliance with Dick's wishes, there are no services. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dick's name should be made to Mayo Lung Cancer Research Program, 13400 East Shea Blvd. Scottsdale, AZ.

MESA, Ariz. - Richard Theodore "Dick" Tollakson, 78, of Mesa, Ariz., died on March 16, 2013, in Tempe, Ariz. He was born on Jan. 4, 1935, in Dows, Iowa, son of Palmer and Leona Tollakson. He graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1952. On July 3, 1954, he married Doris (Dorie) Dowling in Edgerton. He was employed at Costco. Dick is survived by his wife, Doris; daughter, Colleen Breazeale of Mesa, Ariz.; son, Brett (Susan) Tollakson of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and grandson, Brenden Breazeale. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Veryl. No services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Mayo Clinic Lung Cancer Research Program, 13400 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale, AZ 85259.
