DAVENPORT -- Memorial services for Georgia L. Meyer, 90, of Davenport, will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Cunnick-Collins Mortuary Chapel in Davenport. Inurnment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport. The family will greet friends on Friday from 10 a.m. until service time at the mortuary. Mrs. Meyer died on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the Good Samaritan Center in Davenport.

Georgia Lorraine Sadler was born on September 5, 1922, in Eagle Grove, Iowa, a daughter of George and Lillian (Runden) Sadler. She married Kenneth Fuller in Davenport and later married Edward Fosdyck. Following his death, she remarried Kenneth Meyer in Davenport. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Meyer worked at the Rock Island Arsenal as a Contract Specialist for many years, retiring in 1988. She was a former member of the Women of the Moose and most especially enjoyed spending time with her friends at Chef's Hat.

Surviving members of the family include three sons, Ronald (Judith) Fuller of Davenport, David (Billie) Fuller of Reno, Nev., and Edward (Donna) Fosdyck of Arkansas; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Fosdyck; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, and a son, Lawrence Fosdyck. Memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Society.
