Helen White, 90, of Thor, Iowa formerly of Evansville passed away at 6:15 am, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Ft. Dodge, Iowa. Helen was born September 29, 1922 in Columbus, Georgia. During WWII she worked making goggles for bomber pilots. She was a long time member of Washington Avenue Baptist Church in Evansville and was a member of the Southern RR Ladies Club. Helen was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.

She is survived by sons, Wayne White (Jeanette) of Thor, IA and Tommy White (Stephanie) of Frankfort, KY, grandchildren, Emily White, Anne White, Ryan White, Tara Miller, Charlotte White and Elliot White and great grandchildren, Nathan Hedges, Joseph Hedges, Kandis Hedges and Elijah Hedges. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 65 years, Emory White in 2006.

Graveside Services will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville. Boone Funeral Home-East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue, Evansville will be handling the arrangements.
