MRS. OLE ANDERSON CALLED TO THE GREAT BEYOND
Mrs. Ole Anderson died at the hospital at Fort Dodge, Iowa, December 16, 1921, aged 33 years, 8 months and 24 days, of mastoid meningitis after an illness of one week.
Clara Janette, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L.P. Peterson, was born at Elliott, Illinois, July 21, 1888. She was united in marriage to Ole Anderson January 30, 1912. They immediately moved to Fonda, Iowa, where they remained three years and from there removed to Corwith, Iowa, where she resided till the time of her death. To this union four children were born, one son Orvin, age 9 years, and three daughters, Mildred, age 7; Gladys, age 4, and baby Thelma, 6 months old. Besides these she leaves to mourn her death, her husband, father, mother, three sisters and one brother and a host of friends.
Almost unannounced the angel of death entered this once happy home and took from its midst the loving wife and mother and left these young people bereft of her tender care. All that medical skill and tender and loving hands could do was done to alleviate her suffering and if possible to preserve her life, but without avail. God called upon her and she was willing to leave her dear ones to answer His call. She was baptized and confirmed in the Norwegian Lutheran church in youth and had always been a faithful and consistent member to the day of her death.
Short funeral services were held at the home at 12 o'clock Tuesday, December 20, and then the body was taken to Kanawha for burial. Services were held in the Norwegian church at that place, both services being conducted by Rev. Tralstad. The remains were then laid to rest in the cemetery west of Kanawha.
Mrs. Anderson was a kind and loving mother and wife, was of a sunny disposition, an accommodating and highly prized neighbor and was universally respected by all who knew her. The husband, children and relatives have the sympathy of all their friends and neighbors in their sad bereavement.
