BELMOND - Robert "Bobby Earl" Woolery, 60, of Belmond, Iowa, died Thursday, December 27, 2012, at his home. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 4, 2012, at First United Methodist Church, 119 S. Georgia Ave., Mason City, Iowa. Officiating will be Pastor Sean McRoberts. Interment will follow at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City. A visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2012, at Fullerton Funeral Home, 123 Second St. S.E., Mason City. Those planning on expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Barbara Ackerman, 904 Ninth Ave. N.E., Belmond, IA 50421, in care of the family.

Robert Earl Woolery was born on March 4, 1952, in Mason City to William and Lilly (Anderson) Woolery. He spent most of his life living in and around the Mason City area. He worked for Central States Auto Auction transporting vehicles. Bobby Earl really liked Corvette cars and owned several throughout his lifetime. Bobby Earl loved fishing. He would fish anywhere in Northern Iowa. He loved fishing so much that friends and family would call him "Walleye Bob." Bobby Earl also loved spending time with his nieces, nephews and grandchildren. He enjoyed big barbecues with his family, especially if there was fried chicken. Bobby Earl was an avid Seattle Seahawks and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He also liked to watch WWE Wrestling.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Barb Ackerman; sons, Robert Earl Malone and significant other Cierra Shivers, William Henry Woolery and fiancé Avante Shivers; mother, Lilly (Anderson) Woolery; sisters, Veronica Harper-Jenkins (Willie Richmond) of Andover, Minn., Barbara (Reed) Brown of Mason City, Linda of Des Moines and Judy (Greg) Johnson of Milwaukee, Wis.; brothers, Tommy of Des Moines, Ronnie of Phoenix, Ariz., Michael of Mason City, Wallace of Mason City, Charles (Lisa Peterson) of St. Paul, Minn., and Ernie of Mason City; grandchildren, Samantha Rose, Robert Collins, Mackenzie Malone, William D'wayne Woolery, and Zavier Malone; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William James Woolery; grandparents, Anita and Leonard LaFrance; brother, William Woolery Jr.; and special friend, Lori Ball-Carlson.
