Lawrence Carl Levien, 94, of Hot Springs Village died on Sunday, December 02, 2012 at a local hospital. Lawrence was born January 13, 1918 to the late Herman and Elsie (Peckenschneyder) Levien, in Renwick, Iowa. Lawrence served in WWII in the United States Navy. Lawrence was an active member of the Church of Christ in Hot Springs Village. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Lester; Lloyd and Leo Levien. He is survived by his loving wife of Sixty-three years Mildred Levien; one son: Ronald C. Levien and wife Cindy of Brownsburg, IN; Two daughters: Mary Frederick and husband Ralph of Independence, MO; and Dorothy Ebert and husband Fred of Hot Springs Village, AR; six grandchildren; Heather, Keith, Chad, Courtney, Shelly and Johnny; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Church of Christ from 12:00–1:00, Service directly following at 1PM, Friday, December 7, 2012, with David Tappe officiating, interment following at Crestview Memorial Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Bill Dutton, Garey Perkins, John Matthews, Harry Thomas, Gene Ashley and Michael Regauld.
