Wayne Lewis Stupka, 68, of Kanawha, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, November 3, 2012, after experiencing a farm-related accident. Funeral services for Wayne Stupka will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Holmes Baptist Church, 2137 Hancock Avenue in Holmes with Pastor Mark Stupka officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday, at Holmes Lutheran Church Cemetery in Holmes. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home, 118 East 2nd Street in Kanawha and continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Wayne, the son of Edward and Fern (Vroman) Stupka was born in Clarion, Iowa, on January 9, 1944. He attended elementary school in Clarion, and then his family moved to a farm near Renwick where he graduated from high school in 1961. After graduating, he served his country in the National Guard. He loved to farm, so he returned to the farm to work there with his father, and then he began farming on his own. He married Linda Franke, and the Lord blessed them with four children: Teresa (husband Jay) Davidson, Tim, Trisha (husband Mike) Hammitt, and Troy (wife Lindsay). Wayne and his family were involved with farming for many years in several locations around Iowa including Garner, New Hampton, and Leon. Later Wayne returned to farm near Kanawha, and then in 2003, Wayne was united in marriage to Geneice (Armour) Isenberger of Baraboo, Wisconsin. They lived on an acreage northwest of Kanawha, where he enjoyed working with cattle, goats, and other animals. He dearly loved his kids, grandkids, and farming.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Geneice, brother Marvin (wife Mary), four children, four stepchildren, 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
