LANGMADE, DONEGAN, HECK

June 21, 1893 --- July 20, 1952

Former Railroad Bert Langmade, 59, of Eagle Grove, died Sunday, July 20, in a Fort Dodge hospital following a heart attack. Mr. Langmade at one time lived in Hawarden when he was clerk-for the North Western Railroad company, but left here more 20 years ago. He held a similar position at Eagle Grove. Mr. Langmade was at work when he suffered the first attack and shortly after he had a more severe attack. He was taken to Fort Dodge in an ambulance and lived about an hour after arriving at the hospital.

Survivors are the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Paul Donegan of El Paso, Texas; a son Jack of Boone; his mother, Mrs. Mary Langmade of Council Bluffs; a sister and brother, Mrs. E. J. Heck and C. B. Langmade, both of Council Bluffs, and four grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Thursday at the Sacred Heart church in Eagle Grove with Rev. James Slowey officiating. Burial was in Eagle Grove. Mr. and Mrs. John Jurgenson of Hawarden attended the funeral.
