October 15, 1966 --- May 9, 2012

Timothy Earl Chason, 45, of League City passed away on May 9, 2012. Tim was born on October 15, 1966 in Pasadena, TX to Lloyd and Robbie (Cruthers) Chason and was the middle of three children. He attended Red Bluff Elementary, Southmore Intermediate, and Pasadena and South Houston High Schools. His love for the music world fueled his drive to write, record, and release two record albums and perform with several recognized and name groups throughout the late 80's and early 90's. His song writing talent and ability to give high energy concert performances made him a local crowd favorite for promoters. He could often be heard spilling out a rhyme and rapping a beat just to entertain those around him with his infectious creativity and quick wit.

On December 21, 1996 Tim married the love of his life, Lisa Axon Chason. Tim's love for Lisa, their home and four dogs ran so very deep. He would say that just thinking of Lisa and coming home each day would make him smile. Tim was an entrepreneur and big idea person by nature and beginning in May of 2008 he was the business owner and operator of Propaganda Skate & Bike Shop. Tim began with what was a small start up and grew the business and his brand, "It's Propaganda FOOL!" into a loyal following of dedicated sports enthusiasts. His lifelong passion for skating and biking and all those connected to it contributed to large circles of friends and was a tribute to his own cycling success.

Tim was taken from us too soon, but he loved being a positive force especially with the youth and he inspired many to begin skating or cycling. His ability to view something not for what it was, but for what it could be also gave him an innate sense behind the lens of a camera. His talent to see incredible beauty became second nature in honing his skills most recently in his Propaganda Professional Photography.

He was preceded in death by his mother Robbie Chason and both his paternal and maternal grandparents. Tim is survived by his loving wife Lisa, his father and step-mother Lloyd and Helen Chason, his brother Troy, sister Shelly and her husband Rob Lindroos, Father and Mother-in-law Michael and Linda Axon, sister-in-law Gina and her husband Charles Freer, as well as Aunts, Uncles, several cousins and many, many friends.

Tim spent countless hours reuniting owners with their lost pets, stopping traffic to rescue pets that were running loose, and collecting injured pets along any roadside that he may have crossed. Tim loved every animal that he met and ALL animals loved Tim - they immediately knew they had just met one of the kindest hearts they would ever be lucky enough to know.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 9:00 pm, Monday, May 14, 2012 at Crowder Funeral Home League City 1645 E. Main League City, TX 77573, Funeral Service will be held in his honor 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2012 in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home - League City.

In honor of Tim's passion for animals and animal rescue please donate to: Friends For Life No Kill Animal Shelter and Sanctuary P.O. Box 70575 Houston, Texas.
