November 13, 1850 --- August 17, 1916

August Neander Plumley was born in Bennington, Wyoming Co., N.Y., Nov. 13, 1850 and died Aug. 17, 1916, being 65 years, 9 months and 4 days old. He was baptized into the Goldfield Baptist church and has ever since lived a worthy and consistent Christian life, being a faithful and earnest worker in the church and in the S. S. as Superintendent. He was married to Alice G. Church on the 15th day of Feb. 1883. They settled at Luni, Ia., where they resided until they moved near Brainard, Minn., where he has resided until a few months past. In June 1916 he moved into Little Falls, Minn., where he lived at the time of his death. He died of a hemorrhage of the brain. He was ever a kind and affectionate husband and father, son and brother. Now he is not for God has taken him. He leaves a wife, and one son, one brother and one sister to mourn his loss. The body was brought to Goldfield and laid to rest in the Glenwood cemetery Aug. 20th 1916....
