Rites Here for Former Resident

Funeral Rites for Claude Adams were conducted Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Eyler Funeral Chapel in Clarion. He died Saturday at the Iowa Soldiers' Home in Marshalltown. The Rev. Calvin Milan, pastor of the Church of Christ officiated and interment was at the Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Adams formerly operated a grocery store here and later was manager of the State Liquor Store in Clarion. Surviving are his wife, Bessie and two children, Audrey of Chicago, Illinois and Leland serving in the armed forces.
