Charles Trotter Dies at Age 58

Charles M. Trotter, 58, died at his farm home north of Goldfield Wednesday morning. He had been
in failing health for sometime. Charles Monroe Trotter, son of George and Edith Trotter, was born August 29, 1893, in Wright county, and passed away at his home Sept. 26, 1951, at the age of 58 years and 28 days. On Dec. 24, 1918 he was united in marriage to Ruth Swafford at Hamilton, Ohio, and to this union 5 children were born. Mr. Trotter is survived by his wife; two sons, Kenneth W. of Goldfield and Robert C. of Muleshoe, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Melbourne Charlson of Thor and Edith Trotter at home. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son. Other survivors include two grandchildren and five brothers, Glen, Rolland and Dale of Goldfield, Virgil in California, and Merle Trotter in Chicago. Burial was in Glenwood cemetery. Out of town guests attending the services were Dryden Stoakes, Mr. and Mrs. J. Stoakes, Mrs. Elmer Peterson of Hardwick, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. George Mallow of Osage, and Merle Trotter of Chicago.
