MRS. RIEBHOFF SERVICES HELD

Former Burt Woman Died at Eagle Grove After Long Illness

BURT, IA — Funeral services for Mrs. Jessie Riebhoff, widow of the late James Riebhoff, were held at the Methodist church Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. H. W. Jackson conducting the service. Burial was in the Burt cemetery. Mrs. Riebhoff, who was a former Burt resident, died at the home of her son, Michael, in Eagle Grove, on Sunday, Dec. 14, following a long illness. She was born in Illinois in 1858. She came to Kossuth county and settled on a farm near Burt. In 1874 she was married to James Riebhoff. To this union six children were born, three of whom survive her. They are Mrs. Emil Christiansen, Burt; Mrs. W. H. Knight, Grand Island, Nebr., and Michael K., of Eagle Grove. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
