Woolstock Man Passes Tuesday

WOOLSTOCK — George Smith passed away on Tuesday morning at the nursing home in Eagle Grove. Mr. Smith was raised and lived in the Woolstock community until two years ago when he and his wife went to live at the nursing home. He was well known in this community. His daughter, Mrs. Frank Fisher and granddaughter, Mrs. Nobel Yeager and Vicki arrived from California on Monday and visited with him before his death. His son, Wilbur Smith of Brooklyn, N. Y., arrived on Friday after being notified of his father's condition.
