Craig Harrington, 58, passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012, at his home in Niangua, Mo., following
a courageous battle with leukemia. After his passing, he donated himself to research science to enable a better understanding of his rare form of leukemia. A memorial celebration will be held in his honor on Saturday, June 16, 2012, in Niangua, Mo. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Mercy Hospice, 1570 W. Battlefield, Springfield, MO 65807. Craig was born December 1, 1953, to Marilynn and Eugene Harrington in Omaha, Neb. He worked for many years as a mechanic for Ellsworth Freightlines,
Inc. Following that, he pursued his passion for carpentry and became an onsite foreman for a large
construction contractor traveling the United States. He was an avid outdoorsman spending his free time fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Theresa (Niangua, Mo.); his children: Josh Harrington (Jennifer, Pella, Iowa), Amber Severin (Chad, Waukee, Iowa); his father Eugene (Niangua, Mo.); and his siblings: Doug Harrington (Brenda, LaGrange, Ky.) and Linda Rundlett (Polk City, Iowa).
