Rosalyn "Rosy" Ruth Bruns, 93, of Kasson, MN died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Fairview Care Center in Dodge Center, MN. Rosalyn R. Bailey was born November 25, 1918 in Rowan, Iowa to William and Edna Bailey. She graduated from high school in 1936. She played high school basketball and was president of her high school senior class. On September 2, 1939 she was united in marriage to Alvin Bruns in Fort Dodge, Iowa. They farmed together in Iowa and later in Minnesota. She enjoyed fishing, flowers, and was an avid Twins fan.

Rosalyn is survived by her nieces, Shelly Robb, Kasson, MN, Cheryl (Charles) Ridd, Rochester, MN, Jean Hansen, Winona, MN, Terry (Ronnie) Hanson, Byron, MN, four grand nieces and nephews, Jaime, Nickie, Mathew, Brandon and three great-great nieces and nephews, Reed, Pearl and Daniel. She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin in 1995, her brother Reid Bailey, her sister Carole Robb, and brother-in-law, Everett Robb.

Friends may call at Dibble Funeral Home, 213 W. Main St., Kasson from 11:00-noon on Thursday, July 26th. Graveside services will then be held at noon at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kasson with Rev. Dr. Joe Jones officiating. Dibble Funeral Home and Cremation Services handled the arrangements.
