Mable Turner, 86, of 3726 E. Edison, passed away November 7th [1967]. Survived by sons, Maurice of Tucson, Wendell, of Chillicothe, Mo.; daughters, Mrs. Laverne Woods, of Tucson, Mrs. Minnie Ryerson, of Eagle Grove, Iowa, Mrs. Edith Rankin, of Iowa Falls, Iowa, and Mrs. Belle Tillman, of Clarion, Iowa; brother, William Farr, of Iowa Falls, Iowa; 9 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren also survive. Friends may call Wednesday afternoon and evening. Services and interment will be in Eagle Grove, Iowa. Local arrangements by Adair Funeral Home, Dodge and Speedway.

Funeral Services were held November 13 at Kastler and Babcock Funeral Home for Mrs. Mable Turner.
Mable Elizabeth Farr was born July 9, 1881 the daughter of Samuel and Harriett Farr at Wing, Illinois, and died November 7, 1967 at Tucson, Arizona. She was baptized and a member of the First Christian Church of Lexington, Ill. She was reared and educated there, later coming to Iowa. On October 29, 1901 she was married at Eagle Grove to George Turner of Clarion. They lived most of the time in Wright and Humboldt counties. She was preceded in death by her husband in June 1952. She continued to live in Eagle Grove until 1960 when she moved with her daughter, Mrs. Lyle Woods to Tucson, Arizona. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leslie Rankin of Iowa Falls, Mrs. Lyle Woods of Tucson, Arizona and Mrs. Elmer Ryerson of Eagle Grove and two sons, Maurice of Tucson, Arizona, Wendell of Chillicothe, Mo., nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Belle Tillman of Clarion and a brother, Wm. Farr of Iowa Falls also survive. A son, John Turner, passed away in 1962. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery at Clarion, Iowa.
