June 6, 1872 -- October 18, 1926

Mr. H. H. [Harm H.] Luppes, residing east of Kamrar, passed away at his home, Monday of last week, October 18th [1926], at 7:45 P.M. after an illness of several months. Mr. Luppes has been ill since June, and grew worse during the last week before his death. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon of last week at 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. N. Gerdes. Interment was made in Liberty cemetery. The pall bearers were: S. T. Greenfield, Jake Huisenga, Joe Temple, Able [Abel] Middents, John J. Koop, and Joe Trample.

H. H. Luppes, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Luppes, was born in Holland, June 6, 1872 and came to America in 1880. He located in this community in 1886. Mr. Luppes was united in marriage to Miss Tena Lammers, at Clarion, Iowa, in 1898. To this union four children were born, all of whom reside at the home, east of Kamrar. They are: Harmaka, Harry, Herman and Joe. The deceased is also survived by his wife, Mrs. Tena Luppes; and a brother, John Luppes. The deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family and relatives.
