------
Mr. and Mrs. Pals were residents of this community, living in south Franklin county twenty-odd years ago. They had visited here on frequent occasions. At the time of their removal from Ackley they located on a farm near Meservey; later they removed to the village. Old Friends and acquaintances remember them well and sympathy goes out to the other members of the family who feel the misfortune that befell Mr. and Mrs. Pals.May 27, 1920
