Gary Howard Lindas, 77, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Circle of Life Legacy in Bentonville, Arkansas. He was born on April 2, 1935 in Eagle Grove, Iowa to George Lindas and Helen Jenkins Lindas.

He served in the U.S. Army during Korean War. He worked for Muzak Corporation for over 29 years in Oak Park, Illinois. He was very active in the church Youth Ministries in Chicago area. He loved the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears. He and his wife retired and moved to Bella Vista 13 years ago from Geneva, Illinois. He was very involved with the Bentonville Seventh-day Adventist Church. “He was a persistent believer of the Lord.”

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Partlo Lindas of Bella Vista, Arkansas; son, Jeffrey Lindas (Donna) of Halifax, Nova Scotia; daughter, Suzanne Lindas Region of Gurnee, Illinois; brother, Glenn Lindas of Little Rock, Arkansas; and three grandchildren, Luke Sisti, Grace Region, and Garrett Region.

Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. on, Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will follow at 5:00 p.m. Monday at the Bentonville Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2520 SE 14th Street, Bentonville, Arkansas with Pastor Mike Martinez officiating. Arrangements are by the Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory, 2258 Forest Hills Blvd., Bella Vista, Arkansas.
