Jack William Pamperin, the son of Alvin W. and Lillian L. (Hasse) Pamperin, was born February 19, 1960, in Clarion, Iowa. He was raised and educated in Eagle Grove. On October 19, 1985, Jack was united in marriage with Kim A. Smith in Eagle Grove. The couple made their home in Eagle Grove, along with their children Brittney and Blake. Jack did various construction jobs over the years, working for Equimco and Lalor Construction. Jack enjoyed his many hobbies, which included fishing with Blake, barbequing, baking – especially brownies and gardening - he was quite proud of his tomatoes! He was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye and New Orleans Saints fan. Jack was a member of the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Jack died on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge, at the age of 52 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Pamperin. Survivors include his wife, Kim Pamperin of Eagle Grove; daughter, Brittney Pamperin of Eagle Grove; son, Blake Pamperin of Eagle Grove; brothers: Stan Pamperin and wife Lynn of Fort Dodge, Al Pamperin and wife Vicky of Eagle Grove and Jim Pamperin of Yankton, SD; sister, Barb Paine and husband Mike of Geneva; several nieces and nephews and his father and mother-in-law, Don and Carol Smith of Eagle Grove.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Jason Cooper officiating. Visitation will Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
