Richard "Dick" Allen Baker, 90, Tulsa, Oklahoma, died on Sunday, March 4, 2012. He was born on September 12, 1921 in Belmond, to Guy and Mildred (Zook) Baker. He graduated from the Belmond High School in 1939 and married Elaine Pletsch in August 1941 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Belmond. They farmed north of Alexander and in 1963 moved to Hampton. He was preceded in death by his wife. Dick is survived by son, Kirk (Michele) Baker of St. George, Utah; daughter, Melinda (Jordan) Sobel of Tulsa; son, Dave Baker of Council Bluffs; and sister, Ruth Erickson of Belmond.
