ROWAN, IA - Patricia L. "Pat" Amos, 78, of Rowan, died Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. A visitation will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at the Andrews Funeral Home, 516 First St. S.W., Belmond, followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Nancy Hofmeister.

Pat was born May 6, 1933, in St. Paul, Minn. She graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul in 1951. Following a long career as a professional housekeeper in the Twin City area, she retired to Rowan in 1990. Her main passion was her beloved cats. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Louise Raasch, and her brothers, Frank, Fred and George Raasch, and sister Janet Mulhern. She is survived by her son Bill and his wife Theresa Amos of Plymouth, and her feline "companions." She will also be sorely missed by the many friends she made while living in Iowa. Funeral arrangements are by Andrews Funeral Home, Belmond, IA.
