Carrie A. Larson, 37, of Fort Dodge, died Monday, February 27, 2012 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Chapel. Visitation is 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Carrie is survived by her children, Akilah Canada, Elijah, Jodeci and Ahaziah Atkins; her grandchild Adrian Bajrektarevic; her mother Nancy Larson; her stepfather Robert Wepel; and her siblings, Bobby Larson, Whitney Davidson, Lyndsey Wepel, Jennifer Vala and Brandy Bass. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer and Faye Larson.

Carrie was born November 24, 1974 in Fort Dodge. She graduated from Eagle Grove High School in 1992 and was employed as a certified nursing assistant in care centers. Carrie enjoyed music and writing. She was a people person with a zest for life. Her laugh was contagious. She loved to make others feel happy and Carrie will be remembered for her spontaneous and outgoing personality.
