Carroll C. Cordes, 81, of Marble Rock, died Thursday, November 11, 1994, at the Liebe Care Center, Greene. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., Mason City, with the Rev. Herbert G. Shafer of Grace United Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Mason City, with a flag folding ceremony conducted by the Mason City Veterans Memorial Association.

Carroll Cordes was born May 13, 1913 in Clarion. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Cordes of Marble Rock; two sons, Thomas Cordes of Neceda, Wisconsin, and Ray Cordes of Marble Rock; one sister, Ida Harmon of Reno, Nevada; three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, four brothers and one sister.
