Catherine Henegar, 93, of Florence [South Carolina] formerly of Athens, Ga., died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002. Graveside service will be 3 p.m Friday, Dec. 28, 2002, at Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery in Athens, Ga., with Father Jack McDowell, officiating. She was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, daughter of the late William and Katherine Dundon Wehrheim. She was a homemaker and a member of Catholic Center University of Georgia. She preceded in death by her husband, Richard Henegar, and a daughter, Mary Catherine Norman. Survivors are two sons, Richard Henegar of Augusta, Ga., and Bobby Henegar of Florence; two daughters, Margaret Wesley of Athens, Ga., and Jean Henegar of Hartsville; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Bernstein Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
