ANAHEIM, Calif. - Robert C. Wilcox, age 73, of Anaheim, California, and formerly of Rapid City, South Dakota, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2003, in Anaheim, CA. Bob was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, the son of Les and Mildred Wilcox. He attended high school in Rapid City, South Dakota, graduating in the class of 1948 from Rapid City High School, and then attended Chadron State College in Nebraska. He joined the U.S. Navy in August of 1951, and following his discharge from the Navy in October of 1955, he returned to South Dakota and graduated from the University of South Dakota at Vermillion. While in Vermillion, he met and married his wife, Armella Steffen, and after his graduation they moved to California, where he was employed as a Program Staff Engineer until his retirement. Bob had a great sense of humor and intellect and had many friends in both California and South Dakota.

Surviving are his wife, Armella, a son, Matthew, a daughter, Patricia, two granddaughters, Bailee and Brittani, all of Anaheim, California. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his older brother, Jack Wilcox, of Rapid City. Funeral services were held in California, with burial at Riverside National Cemetery.
