Services for Almira Duea, 78, of Ames, Iowa, formerly of Lemon Grove, were Saturday in Bethesda Lutheran Church in Ames. Burial was in East Ullensvang Cemetery in Thor, Iowa. Adams Funeral Home of Ames was in charge. She died Nov. 9 in a hospital. Mrs. Duea was born in Thor and lived in the county from 1954 to 1977, when she moved to Ames. She had attended Iowa State Teachers College and worked as an office manager. She had been involved in several charities. Survivors include a son, James of Ames; four brothers, Selmer Anderson of Humboldt, Iowa, and Clarence Anderson, Omar Anderson and Bert Anderson, all of Thor; and two grandchildren.
