November 13, 1896 --- June 17, 1960
Elzo Blank, son of Luppe and Elske Blank, was born near Belmond, Iowa, November 13, 1896. He was baptized in Immanuel Reformed Church, Belmond, Iowa, as an infant. The family came to the Klemme community and lived on various farms until 1920 when the farm home one and one-half miles southeast of Klemme was purchased. This was his home for the past 40 years and until the time of his death, June 17, 1960.
His parents, 2 brothers, John and Ben, and 2 sisters, Mrs. Lubena Swyter and Grace, preceded him in death. One brother, Ralph of Rockwell, and 2 sisters, Mrs. George Eenhaus and Mrs. H. H. Betten, both of Kanawha, and several nieces and nephews survive.
