Funeral services for Thomas E. Wren, who died Dec. 20 in Seattle, Wash., were held Dec. 26 from Bybee and Davis Funeral Home with burial in the Wren Cemetery. Rev. John Martin officiated.
Thomas Ellsworth, son of William and May Stickle Wren, was born in Knoxville, Oct. 1, 1907. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1926 and was manager of the Brown Shoe Fit Store here for many years. A veteran of World War II, he was employed in Cleveland, Ohio for several years and then he and his wife, the former Pearl Veeder of Belmond, moved to Seattle in 1961. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter and his parents. Surviving are his wife, Pearl and three sisters: Mrs. Bernice Conway of Knoxville. Mrs. Florence Ewart of Seattle, Wash. and Mrs. Agnes Stittsworth of Des Moines.
