Survived by wife of 48 years Maria; children Sole Bell and husband Chip, Jesse W. III and wife Amy, Joseph and wife Jennifer, all of Bellevue; brother Bob Hammond, Omaha; sisters Mary Jane Tilghman of Eagle Grove, IA and Sharon Ann Owen, Marshalltown, IA; sister-in-law Maryann Hammond, Cedar Rapids, IA; 9 grandchildren: Brandon, Jarred, Lynsey, Noah, Jenna, Abby, Autumn, Emily and Elizabeth; 2 great grandchildren, Jace and Ally.
