Elizabeth Lavon (Haines) Lee
February 2, 1931 - September 14, 2011Elizabeth Lee, 80, passed away on September 14, 2011. She was born on February 2, 1931 in Dows, Iowa to James Monroe and Helen Lavon (Root) Haines. She enjoyed working her crypt-o-quotes, reading the paper, OU football, and OKC Thunder basketball. Elizabeth was a very patriotic woman, she loved her country and she would have served in the military if she had been able.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Theodore Alva Lee; son, Teddy Jr., grandson, Cody Harris; brothers, John and Leroy Haines. Survivors include her children, Ginger L. Lee and husband Rick Green, Calvin W. Lee and wife Darla, Rebecca White and husband Chris; siblings, Betty, Evelyn, Avon, Marilyn, Sally, Jimmy, Richard, Eldon and Willie; grandchildren, Mark, Sasha, Ashley, Halley, Savannah, Calvin Jr., Farrah, Chris, Misty, Stephanie, Tenisha, Craig, Lacey, Cory, Jordan, Max, Paul, Teddy III, Bria; and 30 great-grandchildren and counting.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 19, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church of Midwest City. Interment will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, Del City, OK.
