June 22, 1935 - August 19, 2011

Kenneth K. Holder, 76, of Kamrar, Iowa passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 in Boonville, Missouri. Funeral services for Kenny Holder will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Ewing Funeral Home, 602 North Main Street in Clarion with Judy Fountain officiating. Burial will be at Cass Center Cemetery near Webster City. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Ewing Funeral Home in Clarion and will continue one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Tuesday.

Kenneth Keith Holder, the son of James and Irma (Cackler) Holder was born June 22, 1935 in Pleasantville, Iowa. Kenny was educated in the Kelley, Iowa school system. Kenny worked for 53 years as a union over-the-road truck driver, and during his working years won several awards for being a safe and courteous driver. His career as a trucker made it possible for him to visit all of the lower 48 states. In his earlier years, Kenny enjoyed driving sprint and stock cars competitively. Kenny also enjoyed spending time with his sister, Judy and her husband Carl, singing and playing guitar. Kenny was very proud of his Native American heritage, which contributed to his love of animals and hunting.

Kenny is survived by 6 children; several grandchildren; his sisters Velma Davis of Marshall, Missouri and Judy (Carl) Fountain of Boonville, Missouri; along with numerous other loved ones and friends. Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, 2 children, his sisters Pauline Osborn and Betty Osborn, and his brothers Bill Holder and Ulin Holder.
