LEADER, MN -- Rosemary Knox, 54, Leader, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, at Merit Care Hospital in Fargo, N.D. She was born Oct. 12, 1948, in Crookston to Clifford and Hazel Irene (Thurman) Keeling. She graduated from Staples High School in 1966. She married Sherman Knox on Aug. 9, 1969, in Aldrich. They lived in rural Staples. She worked several jobs in the Staples area. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses of Jenkins. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Francine Cole, Wadena; her parents, Clarion, Iowa; a grandchild; three sisters, Marsha Owen, Staples, Sally Roe, West Fargo, N.D., and Nancy Shinabarger, Owatonna; and a brother, Joe Keeling, Riverville, Iowa. A son, Sherman Knox Jr., died earlier. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples. Burial will be in Esterday Cemetery in Byron Township at a later day. Memorials are preferred to Roger Maris Cancer Center, Fargo, N.D., in Rosemary's name. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Friday and an hour before services Saturday at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples.
