Robert Leonard Knosby, 70, of Cumming, Iowa died on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at his home. A Rosary and memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, September 10, at the St. John's the Apostle Catholic Church of Norwalk. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Perpetual Care Fund of the St. John's Cemetery in Cumming. The Caldwell-Raddatz Funeral Home and Crematory of Urbandale, is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born in Des Moines on February 26, 1941, to Anne (Hayes) and Martin Knosby. Robert was a graduate of the Clarion High School and worked as a forklift operator at John Deere until his retirement. Robert is survived by his brothers, Louis of Webster City and Joe of Idabel, Oklahoma; sister, Eileen Stangl of Brea, California; and other extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Austin, Cyril, John and Fred.
