December 23, 1896 -- June 10, 1959

Mrs. Clara Hoeg, 62, of Washburn, Ia. died at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Virgil Widger, Washburn, of carcinoma. She was born on Dec. 23, 1896, in Cook county, South Dakota, the daughter of Tom and Anna Albright. She was married to Claude Hoeg on April 16, 1921, at Eagle Grove. He died Dec. 31, 1957. They moved to Waterloo in 1940 from Lincoln, Ia. Until recently she resided at 1518 Wayne St., Maywood addition.

Surviving are two sons, Albert Hoeg, Raymond, Ia.; Ralph of 824 Midland, Waterloo; two daughters, Mrs. Robert McDonald, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Virgil Widger, Washburn; seven grandchildren; one brother, Harry Albright, 423 Bishop St., Maywood; two half-brothers, Jack Albright, Canistola, S.D.; Joe Sutter of California, and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Dean, Des Moines; Mrs. Sadie Schwartz, Fremont, S.D. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services are pending at the Evansdale Chapel of Memories.
