NEWTON, N.C. - Geraldine V. Stout, 93, of Newton, N.C., formerly of Belmond, Iowa, died Sunday, May 29, 2011, at the Hospice House in Newton, N.C. According to her wishes, Geraldine is to be cremated. A memorial service for Geraldine Stout will be held at a later date in Belmond. Local arrangements are under direction of the Dugger Funeral Home, 111 Luick's Lane South in Belmond.
