WATERLOO, IA - Fern L. Dunfee, 82, of Waterloo, died Thursday, Dec. 23, at Allen Hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Britt, daughter of John William and Vera Frances Zeigler Babcock. She married Donald L. Dunfee on Dec. 21, 1946, in Corwith. Survived by: her husband; a daughter, Terry Lynne (David) Roeder of Waterloo; three grandchildren, Steven and Daniel Graham, and Kelli Kezar; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter (Margery) Babcock of Cape Cod, Mass., and Lloyd Babcock of Corwith; and a sister, Sandra Goodrich of Kanawha. Preceded in death by: a stillborn daughter, Kaye Ann; a sister, Dorothy Sanders; a stillborn brother and sister; and a great-grandson, Gabriel Graham.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel, with burial in Waterloo Memorial Park Cemetery. Public visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and for an hour before services Wednesday at the chapel. Memorials: may be directed to the family.
