Terry R. Hanson, 49, of Duncan, died Tuesday (Nov. 24, 1998) at home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, in Britt, with the Rev. Robert Dodge officiating. His body will be cremated following services. Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Britt.

Terrill Roger Hanson, the son of Roger and LaVonne (Clark) Hanson was born Nov. 17, 1949, at Belmond. He attended school at Belmond and then started driving truck. He worked for numerous trucking companies in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota. On Dec. 2, 1989, he was married to Diane Martie at the Nazarene Church, in Britt. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, working in the yard, his pets and his antique bicycle collection.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Hanson, of Duncan; a daughter, Dawn Gayken and her husband, Todd, of Britt; a son, David Ehrhardt, Marshalltown; two grandchildren, Keaton Gayken and Sydney Hunt; his mother, LaVonne Hanson, of Mason City; four brothers, Ronald Hanson and his wife, Tammie, of Mason City; Dennis Hanson and his wife, Kristine, of Austin, Minn. and Eugene Hanson, of Woodward; Loren Hanson and his wife Diane, of Mason City, two sisters, Lois Gomez and her husband, John, of Clinton; and Linda Thayer, and her husband Claude, of West Plains, Mo.; and his mother and father-in-law, Leo and Arlene Martie. He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Hanson and grandparents, Oren and Mona Hanson.
