September 24, 1896 -- October 27, 1964

Funeral services for Bernold Opheim were held Friday, Oct. 30 (1964) at St. Olaf Lutheran church, Pastor Kraabel officiating. Casket bearers were Arnold Larson, Ted Kinseth, Leonard Harmon, Vernon Rutz, Donald Rutz, Royal Hansen, Harold Lane and Marcus Rolland. Special music was "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by Bach, sung by Dale Vige. Organ numbers were "Theme From New World Symphony" by Dvorak, and "Largo" by Handel, played by Mrs. David Engel. Interment in St. Olaf cemetery near Bode.

Michelson, Mrs. Eugene Gilner and Mrs. and Mrs. Leonard Arne of Forest City, Duane Michelson, Mrs. Ann Thoelke and Donald Opheim of Ames, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rierson and Mrs. and Mrs. Heimer Rierson of Sioux Falls, S.D., Mr. and Mrs. Maynard Langerud and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Leegaard of Leland, Rev. and Mrs. Robert Thoelke, State Center, Mr. and Mrs. Art Carlson, Joe Opheim and Dean Carlson of Humboldt, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Carlson and Dennis and Mrs. Bill Stockwell of Ft.
