HUMBOLDT, IA - Barbara Hull, 86, of Humboldt, passed away April 3, 2011 at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Visitation is from 5 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt.

Barbara Kindwall, the daughter of Elmer and Clara (Bell) Kindwall was born May 6, 1924 at Alta, Iowa. She graduated from Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls with a BA and Masters degree. She started teaching in High School and after receiving her Masters she taught at Iowa Central Community College and retired from teaching in 1986. She was the State advisor for PHI BETA LAMBDA for some time.

Barbara's first husband, Harold, died in 1975 and in 1979 she was united in marriage to Fred Hull. Barbara was very active in the Methodist Church and Sunday school and loved to play bridge whenever she could. Fred and Barbara traveled to all 50 states and they loved to winter in Texas or Arizona.

Barbara is survived by her husband Fred; sons, Gregg (Audrey) Sunner, Ankeny, IA, Scott Sunner, Moline, IL, and stepson Mark Hull, St. Paul, MN. grandchildren Kim Sunner, Julie Sunner, Kelli Sunner, Abbi Sunner and step granddaughter Jenna Hull; and great-grand daughter Peyton Sunner; sister Delaine Olson of Spirit Lake, IA. She was preceded in death by her first husband Harold Sunner and stepson Tom Hull.
