Adeline (Menke) Perry

SEDONA, Ariz. - Adeline Perry, 86, of Sedona, Ariz., and formerly of Mason City, died March 10, 2011, in Cottonwood, Ariz. A Memorial Service was held Tuesday, March 15, at Christ Lutheran Church in Sedona, Ariz. Adeline was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Belmond to Lambert and Ruth Menke. She graduated from Mason City High School in 1942. She taught school in Carpenter and LaPorte City in her early years. She married Homer Perry at Central Lutheran Church in 1957. She lived in California and then in Arizona the last 30 years. Homer died in 1988. Adeline is survived by sisters Avis Miller of Milwaukee, Phyllis Wright of Mason City and sister-in-law Marcia Menke of Mason City. She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Junior "Bud" Menke and great- nephew Matt Murphy.
