VINCENT, IA - John Gallogly of Charles City, passed away Feb. 5, 2011 in Fernandino Beach, FL. Funeral services will be held Tuesday Feb. 22 at 2:00 p.m. at South ENES Lutheran Church in Vincent.

John Richard Gallogly was born on Nov. 11, 1981 in Mason City to Jeffrey and Jean (Borchardt) Gallogly. John attended elementary through high school in Des Moines. He later attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, and received a degree in their Computer Technology program. In 2006 he became employed by Fort Dodge Animal Health in their IT department. He remained employed by Pfizer and was recently transferred to their company plant in Charles City until his passing. John spent much of his time with his family. He enjoyed playing guitar and reading as a pastime. His thirst for knowledge was never ending. He loved his computers and spent a lot of time communicating on Facebook with his many friends.

John is survived by his parents, Jean and Jeff Gallogly of Vincent, his sister, Heather Armstead, a niece, Ravyn, and two nephews, Jaden and Devin Armstead all of Vincent; Grandparents, Barbara and Gene Gallogly of Mason City, Reuben and Zola Borchardt of Plymouth; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by all of his great-grandparents.
