Des Moines, IA -- Joyce Evelyn (Bygness) Mosher, 65, of Des Moines, went home to be with the Lord on February 8, 2011, following her battle with pancreatic cancer. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Altoona United Methodist Church, 602 5th Ave SW, in Altoona, IA.

Joyce was born on October 11, 1945 in Hampton, Iowa to Harrold and Roberta (Procter) Bygness. She graduated from Goldfield Community School and received her Associate of Arts degree from the Eagle Grove Junior College. March 4, 1966, Joyce was united in marriage to Ronald Mosher of Clarion, IA.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ron, their three children, Rhonda Jones of Des Moines, Roberta (David) Osterquist of Sioux Falls, SD, and Leslie (Mike) Oaks of Altoona, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, five brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 11th from 5 to 7 p.m. at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to YOUR favorite charity in Joyce's name.
