Willis "Willy" Pruismann, 73, Eldora, Iowa a former Webster City resident, died Friday, January 14, 2000 at the Eldora Care Center. Funeral services were held Monday at the Foster Funeral home with Rev. Rudy Derosa officiating. Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery.
Willis LeRoy Pruismann, son of Andrew and Leona Greenfield Pruismann, was born Jan. 23, 1926 on a farm near Kamrar. He attended school at Blairsburg. On Dec. 28, 1944 he married Darlene Lydia Claude at Webster City. He worked at the Luppes Oil Company in Blairsburg for several years, then owned and operated a trucking and corn shelling business. He had also been employed at Umthum Trucking in Eagle Grove, Luppes Transport in Webster City, Smithway in Fort Dodge and Here Heavy Haulers in Webster City. He retired in 1988.
Survivors are his wife, Darlene, sons and daughters-in-law, Darwin and Shirley Pruismann, William Pruismann, Kendall and Rhonda Pruismann, all of Webster City, Rick Pruismann, Denver, CO., daughter and son-in-law, Darla and Jack Fox of Apple Valley, MN., 13 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sister, Margie Riley of Blairsburg, brother, James Pruismann of Altoona, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Dayton and a former member of the Webster City Moose.
