Patricia S. Paine Forrest, 78, of South Amboy died Monday, Jan. 3, 2011 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Eagle Grove, Iowa, she lived in Titusville and Hamilton before moving to South Amboy 15 years ago. Before retiring, she was employed as a secretary at Trenton State College. She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, South Amboy and the South Amboy Senior Citizens. Wife of the late Wesley Forrest who died in 1987, she was also predeceased by her brother, Perry Paine. She is survived by 3 sons, Scott G. Forrest of Monroe, Stuart E. Forrest and his wife, Linda of South Amboy and Kyle D. Forrest of Detroit, Michigan; 3 daughters, Lisa A. Forrest of Pleasant Hill, California, Marcia R. Banish and her husband, Richard of Clawson, Michigan and Sally P. Souder and her husband, Chuck of Eagle Grove, Iowa and 6 grandchildren, Deirdre, Michael, Sean, Theresa, Kerry and John. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10am from The Gundrum Service "Home For Funerals" 237 Bordentown Avenue, South Amboy followed by a 10:30am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church, South Amboy. Private cremation will follow. Visitation will be on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm.
