Claude Swale Buried Here
The remains of Claude Swale were brought here on Wednesday from Long Prairie, Minn., for burial. Mr. Swale is a brother of Clinton Swale and was formerly a resident of this city. Funeral services were held from the Presbyterian church, the Rev. Claude Fausnaugh officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery.

Claude A. Swale Died Monday of Heart Ailment at Long Prairie

Claude A. Swale, former Spirit Lake resident, died very suddenly Monday [May 2, 1938] at Long Prairie, Minn., of an heart ailment. The body was brought to Estherville Wednesday and funeral services were held this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. in the Presbyterian church with the Rev. Claude Fausnaugh in charge. Interment was made in the West Side cemetery. Surviving are two sons, four daughters, one grandson and one granddaughter, two brothers and five sisters.
