Donnabelle Nadine McCollough, the daughter of Henry Louis and Mabel Irene (Wilcox) Bohy, was born March 29, 1926, in Woolstock, Iowa. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. On January 31, 1943, Donnabelle was united in marriage with Lyle D. McCollough in Webster City. The couple made their home in Webster City until moving to Eagle Grove in 1950, where they raised three daughters. In 1970, they moved to Dakota City and returned to Eagle Grove in 1983. Donnabelle worked for Wilson's in Eagle Grove, the Fashionnette Clothing Store in Humboldt and worked for the Eagle Grove Community Schools and Rotary Ann. Donnabelle was a member of the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove. She enjoyed golfing, playing cards and spending time with family.

Donnabelle passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010, at Rotary Ann Nursing Home in Eagle Grove, at the age of 84 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Henry; husband Lyle and brother, Jerry Bohy. Survivors include her mother, Mabel Bohy of Eagle Grove; daughters, Donna Madson and husband Stan of Eagle Grove, Janis Tincher and husband Larry of Forest City and Ronda Cantu and husband Andy of Garland, TX; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and a brother-in-law, Marvin McCollough and wife Gail of Apache Junction, AZ.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010, 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Eagle Grove with Pastor Mike Agnew officiating. Visitation is Monday, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
