WARNER ROBINS, GA - Georgena Rohrssen Owen, 67, passed away December 8, 2010 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held 4 P.M. Saturday, December 12, 2010 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will be private. The family suggest that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mrs. Owen was born in Clarion, Iowa to the late George Ford and Lena Gaulke Ford. She was a member of Northridge Baptist Church and the Southern Cruisers Riding Club #104. Mrs. Owen was a retired office manager for the Department of Defense being employed by Advance Testing Tech. She will be remembered by her family and friends as an avid and talented craftsman. Survivors include her husband David Owen of Warner Robins; children, Sherri (Don) Carter of Fayetteville, GA, Kevin (Eva) Rohrssen, Sr. of San Antonio, TX, Dawn (Keith) Haskins of Gray, GA; sister Jean Dykeman of Austin, MN; brother, Darrell Ford of Washington State; five grandchildren, Amber Carter of Fayetteville, GA, Kevin Rohrssen, Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Trey Carter of Fayetteville, GA, Logan Haskins of Gray, GA and Dakota Haskins of Gray, GA. The family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
